It only took me six months to finally sit down, organize, and download all of our wedding photos — and I have no one to blame but myself. We still haven’t taken a honeymoon (one day!), and with the two of us still navigating a long-distance marriage, figuring out how to live in the same country has been our biggest focus. That said, I’m finally ready to share a little glimpse into one of the happiest days of our lives — and probably the most photos I’ve ever included in a blog post. Narrowing them down was nearly impossible!
I’m endlessly grateful to our insanely talented photographer, Anna, and to my best friends for capturing every beautiful moment so perfectly. And get this — Anna had our full gallery ready in less than a week after the wedding! I truly can’t recommend her enough!!

The Morning Of
I’ve never been one for all the traditional wedding customs—like sleeping apart the night before. I totally get the sentiment, but being long distance, every moment together is precious. So, waking up on a beautiful yacht next to my soon-to-be husband felt like the perfect start to our wedding day. It brought a sense of calm that stayed with me the entire day.
Our venue included one complimentary night, and since Charlie lives in Spain—and with all the unique requirements of getting married in Gibraltar—we decided to extend our stay and make the most of it. My bridesmaids also booked a few nights at the Sunborn Hotel, which made the morning even more special. We all spent the morning together—Charlie included—popping champagne, having breakfast, and lounging in eye patches around our penthouse suite. It was relaxed, joyful, and exactly what I needed.
Charlie only ducked out once I started doing my hair, heading to the border to grab his groomsmen so they could get ready nearby.
I didn’t book hair and makeup. Instead, I curled my own hair and asked one of my best friends to do my makeup—something I’ll forever be grateful for. She’s incredibly talented, and I loved getting to share that moment with her. I wanted to feel like me, and she made that happen beautifully.
I have always been iffy on doing a first look but for us it made sense. We only booked Anna for 4 hours and rather get half of the photo done before the wedding. I even scouted our photo location the day before since I only ever seen it from top of the Gibraltar rock or online. The location was MY DREAM. Since it was a bit of a destination wedding, I hadn’t actually seen our venue in person until about a week before walking down the aisle. But I went in with the mindset: It’s booked, it’s happening, and it’s going to be amazing no matter what. And it truly was.

Catalan Bay
When it came time to plan our photos, I brought it up to our wedding coordinator right away. I’m so glad we made it happen. Seeing Catalan Bay in person doesn’t even feel real—the crystal blue water, colorful buildings, and quiet charm made it the most magical backdrop.
As for my bridesmaids…I let my bridesmaids choose their own dresses—different colors and styles that made them feel comfortable and confident. Somehow, they all ended up matching the scenery perfectly!
Afterward, we all hopped in taxis and headed back to the hotel for the ceremony.
Huge shoutout to Hour Weddings for coordinating and decorating everything so beautifully. From our early Zoom calls to organizing everything from abroad, Kym and Jenna from their team made the day run seamlessly and turned our vision into a reality. I couldn’t be more grateful for their support leading up to the day and day of!
