Freepeople's- Gauze Sequin Shift Dress

Renaissance Affair

Hello once again, I am so excited to share this post with you guys! I stumbled upon this skirt and it's usually something I would just glance at, say it was interesting and then never mention it again. This time though something was different. I imagined this outfit in my head and instantly I was hooked. So I rummaged through my closet, and found my floral string tie top (which isn't seen since the cardigan) THEN I was really hooked. I then took the camera out and found this street that had amazing bamboo all around the sidewalk as seen and the way it made the skirt pop was my favorite! Mixing patterns is one fun thing to me since it's challenging and really can make or break an outfit. Floral patterns are one of my all time favorites along with lace so I had to add it to this outfit. The green tones are so fall, and I wanted to do a red lip to bring out the reds in the skirt. Mini skirts can be dressed up or down and that's also another one of my favorites about this masterpiece of a clothing item. I hope you enjoy this outfit as much as I had a blast wearing it that day!
Have a happy Friday,

Happy Holidays!

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday! Today has been such a blast with my family and I can't believe I was fortunate enough to get a beach cruiser! Something I've been wanting for quite some time to just cruise around the beach, with the wind in my hair and the cool breeze tickling my cheeks. I'll be sure to feature it soon. Lots of great things coming in 2014.... :) <3 And I can't wait to show you all the posts I have in store for you! I hope everyone has had a great Holiday, stay tuned for my next post coming very soon!

Silk, Coffee and VELVETMOON

Happy Sunday to you all! I hope your weekend is flying by since Christmas is nearly just around the corner. I am so unprepared but some help from gives me amazing ideas! They have such a cool aesthetic and have pieces that could make any woman happy around the holidays! I am so grateful for the silk dress they sent me and I will get loads of use of it, theres so much you can do with it! Dress it up, or dress it down. Which is great for me because I have those lounging around the apartment days, and going out on spontaneous days/nights and this dress can be worn for both. Once again the Holidays are approaching at lightening speed for me, but I hope they slow down for everyone else, get those last minute gifts and spend time with loved ones. In the end it doesn't matter the gift though, the company the friends and laughter are one of the best gifts!

Last week my roommates and I threw a XMAS party that we called the Gypsy Palace Xmas Party! Only because that's what we've named our cozy apartment. It was a blast we set up a Photo Booth that consisted of cheap decor and fell off halfway through the party...but it was hilarious and we all laughed. I played bartender which I love making drinks now it's pretty amazing! The night ended with laughs and great stories.... between bar-tending and running the "Photo Booth" I wasn't in many photos but at least got these :D  I couldn't have asked for a better party! These pictures only sum up some of the laughs and not even half of the people :(( but here's to great memories and friends! I'd love to hear all about everyone's Christmas and I hope you all have a safe Holiday!

Tea for None

Tea is almost as addicting to me as coffee...after a long stressful day, or just to make my insides feel warm and cozy. My mom has a great tea time table in front of her house and every time I visit I just want to have a fancy cup of tea. I have yet to do that! But I had fun doing a shoot all around the house especially in this outfit. I LOVE dresses they are so much fun to twirl around in...which I could help with this shift dress. It just isn't a shift dress it's an attitude ;) haha This knit cardigan is also very holidayish and since I love print on print I had to throw this on. I did end up drinking tea just not at the fancy table, nor did I picture in it. This post also features my mom's (MINE secretly) dog Nicko, she is my baby and the first picture I just had to include she's my little wolf dog! I hope everyone is getting more and more into the Holiday Spirit I know I am!
