I absolutely LOVE a staycation so I jumped at the opportunity to stay at Surfrider Hotel - Malibu. It's a good excuse for me to get out of the city, unwind and focus on creativity. I always feel rejuvenated after staying in a hotel, especially one that over looks the iconic Malibu Pier. When I say this hotel not only is aesthetic, calming, beautiful the list goes on...it also smells like a dreamy spa day.

Things I loved about staying here:

• For one, the rooftop bar and restaurant. Which is only exclusive to hotel guests and not for the public. It makes it feel very intimate in a way without sharing the roof with anyone else. Although after experiencing the sunset with a martini in hand overlooking PCH, I would 100% stay here again just for this rooftop. 
• When I stayed here they had mini coopers that you could use for free when you're a hotel guest. You could literally take one and drive around Malibu in it. I LOVED cruising down PCH in their mini cooper. I had a little picnic day on the beach with my bff and drove through the canyon. I thought this experience was so much fun! 
• You're walkable to the pier and Malibu Farm is always a VIBE for lunch or drinks. 
• I scheduled a morning coffee to be delivered when I woke up -IT WAS THE BEST BLACK COFFEE I EVER TASTED (1000% recommend trying their coffee)
• They have surfboards you can use and other amenities like surf lessons.
